A dormant lead audit is a one-page diagnosis of an old CRM export. It tells you which records are still worth pursuing, which are not, and why. Every record that is set aside carries a documented reason.

A lead goes quiet for ordinary reasons. The campaign ended, the owner changed roles, the budget moved, or the follow-up simply stopped. The record stays in the CRM because nobody wants to delete it and nobody has time to work it. That is not the same as a bad lead.
The problem is that the list is mixed. Some records are still useful. Some are incomplete, duplicated, or missing a real contact. Some should never be contacted again. A bulk email treats all three the same, which is why it usually fails.
B2B teams and agencies with a list that went quiet:
It is not for purchased lists, consumer lists, or a live CRM connection. The audit works on a CSV export, not your live system.
Every record gets a recovery score built from evidence in the export:
The score orders the work. It is not a prediction that a person will buy.
The quarantine reasons are specific: no email, malformed address, duplicate, missing company, no usable context, suppression match. A reason is not a judgment about the person. It is a note about what the record can support.
It does not predict who will buy. It does not connect to your CRM, request credentials, or send email. It does not replace a sales team or a CRM. It is diagnostic triage: it tells you where the recoverable value is, and what in your own data supports that conclusion.
If a list holds no recoverable value, the report says so. It does not invent optimism to justify the fee.
Most import tools drop bad rows silently. A single unclosed quote can merge every row that follows into one record. A row with no email can disappear. The count at the end looks plausible, so nobody notices.
The audit is built the other way. A record that cannot be used is quarantined, not deleted. The report states what was dropped, why, and what it would take to fix it. That is the product's central promise, and it is covered by tests.
If the list is mostly missing emails or has no context, the report will say that. The audit can still show what is there, but it will not pretend the list is stronger than it is.
Look at the sample report first. It uses synthetic data, so no client records appear in it.
